Le coach voyageur

 La pause
estivale touche à sa fin, les derniers aoûtiens sont de retour de vacances,
après avoir éventuellement bravé le bouchon du Gothard et défait leurs valises.
C’est aussi le moment de revoir des voisins, des collègues de travail et des
amis pour leur parler d’une des activités principales en lien à la parenthèse
de l’été : notre (ou nos) voyage(s).
Je dois
vous avouer humblement que je redoute cet exercice : que cela soit la
Floride, Zermatt ou l’Andalousie, les récits de mes interlocuteurs (et les miens
aussi, d’ailleurs) me mettent souvent mal à l’aise, car ils se limitent la
plupart du temps à une énumération de faits, d’anecdotes et, parfois,
d’exploits dignes d’un bon polar, d’un film de James Bond quand ce n’est
pas d’un des épisodes des Bronzés. Ces
partages me laissent souvent sur ma faim : je constate en effet que,
au-delà de l’échange d’informations, la véritable communication, c’est-à-dire
celle qui consiste à livrer ses ressentis et ses émotions, a rarement lieu et
mon interlocuteur et moi-même ne faisons que de nous croiser sans véritablement
nous rencontrer, l’objectif principal de la discussion étant de montrer à
l’autre (et probablement aussi à soi-même) que notre voyage a été une réussite
et/ou que nous avons « fait quelque chose » de nos vacances. Et
pourtant, ce n’est pas faute d’essayer de glaner ici et là quelques signes de
vécu et d’authenticité. Comme Proust, cité par Laurent Gounelle ,
j’essaye de me dire que "le seul véritable voyage, le seul bain de
Jouvence, ce ne serait pas d'aller voir de nouveaux paysages, mais d'avoir
d'autres yeux, de voir l'univers avec les yeux d'un autre, de cent autres, de
voir les cent univers que chacun d'eux voit, que chacun d'eux est". Je cherche donc à me mettre dans la peau, dans le
cœur, dans la tête, d’ « embrasser
l’univers » de l’autre en l’écoutant et lui posant des questions pour
en savoir plus, parfois avec succès, souvent en restant cependant dans le
registre du « faire » et non de l’ « être ».  Comme souvent, « je
suis sûr des mes doutes et je doute de mes certitudes » (Bertrand
Piccard ). J’ai
cependant l’intime conviction que, à l’instar d’un personnage d’une des
intrigues « philosophico-psychologiques » d’Irvin Yalom, j'apprends
à lire dans mes pensées pour que, fort de cette expérience, je puisse aider les
autres à le faire dans les leurs. Le but n’est donc pas tellement de savoir si
je peux ou si je dois voyager dans l’univers de mon interlocuteur, mais plutôt
de me donner les moyens de voyager dans mon propre monde afin de pouvoir aider
mon vis-à-vis à réaliser son propre périple, son propre voyage intérieur.  Que je sois « le voisin qui raconte ses
vacances » ou celui qui endosse l’habit de coach, la profondeur du voyage
ne m’appartient pas : cette responsabilité revient à mon vis-à-vis. Ma
tâche principale consiste donc probablement à être un voyageur intérieur prêt à
accompagner la personne aussi loin qu’elle est d’accord d’aller, la véritable
destination résidant dans le voyage en lui-même. Sans oublier que, comme le
relève Gandhi, « le plus grand voyageur n'est pas celui
qui a fait dix fois le tour du monde, mais celui qui a fait une seule fois le

І don't know if it's just me or if perhaps
